So I had a amazing time yesterday at the faire! It's probably going to become something we do every year now, since I seem to have gotten my roomie hooked on it.
I went as a fairy, and they went as kind of a hobbit this time around. But they want to work on a Troll costume. I've got most of my costume as it is. I just need a bodice and some accessories for my belt.
I think two of my favorite moments where when I got to interact with other fairies. Some of them were kind of snooty, but at one point one came up to me and I gave her some of my pixie dist, which I was carrying around in a salt shaker. Then she gave me one of her snowflakes.
My roomie also got me a woodbaby as a late birthday/early Christmas present. Another fairy was fawning over him. I still don't know what to name him yet. I think I want to call him StarGazer, because his eyes look like they have stars in them.
I also got to meet a unicorn yesterday. She was small. Very small. And her handler/Princess had a little diaper on her too. Can't let that unicorn poop get everywhere now can we? It's worse than glitter.
It's not really every day that you can say a Unicorn booped her nose against you and then nuzzled you. :D
Also, for those of you who have never had Mead before, t's fantastic but very strong. I hadn't even gotten four gulps into my drink and I was feeling it. I was one tipsy fairy for a good two hours there.

We have two within 1-2 hours of our house and it's definitely become a fun little thing to do the first week of September! I bought a donkey skull last time we went and have no regrets haha!

I've been alright! Very exhausted but things are starting to get better now that classes are winding down and giving me more time to get things done! I actually had free time for myself this week which hasn't happened in months, so I ended up having a nice time playing fallout 4 after I worked on commissions the other day xD
With holidays around the corner I think it'll probably pick back up again with scrambling to get everyhing in place and finished, but at least I won't have to worry abut homework anymore haha!

Sounds so busy. I honestly really want to commission the boys from you again but between my lack of money and your busy schedule it's tough.

I totally feel you though! There are a ton of people I want to commission but they're either not open or I can't afford it atm because most of my money has gone to stuff I've needed for class ;;
but I would totes love to draw stuff for you again sometime! :D maybe we can do a trade or something whenever I get more of my queue cleared if you'd wanna!

it's all good, nowadays I totally understand where they were coming from but it still sucked big time!
and yeah it's totally fine! I'm going for my BFA in animation! :D I got my AFA back in 2013 (my first college was only a 2 year program) but no one really puts much value on an AFA and I just generally wanted to improve my art! my classes end december 1st but i "officially" graduate spring 2017 because that's when my college does the ceremony thing!

oooh gotcha! sorry about that! hmmm...character-wise honestly feel free to pick any of the critters listed on my front page! I use Audi the most but I love the rest of them just as much haha! So whichever you'd be the most comfortable with and if you had any questions about em i'd be more than happy to answer :D

I'm not sure who I'd want to ask you to draw. Honestly it's between three couples. Ziggy and Romeo because I LOOOOOVE how you draw them.
Or perhaps these two. Cocoa and Moss need more love.
But then again I still haven't gotten a couple picture for Holi and Swash yet. @-@
