Actually no, before the arrival of the Szakade there's nothing in orbit at all, though Etrusea was working on building its first space launch complex (based on a deal where the Aludrans would actually build it to make sure it wasn't for firing ballistic missiles).

Um... I'll admit I've struggled a little with this, do you mean the entire setting or the story I'm working on telling within it?

I think of all my characters I have a particular fondness for Ingrid. She's fun to write, I like the combination of "prim and proper schoolteacher" and "tank commander" for some reason.
