Also, which of your characters is your favorite or at least holds a special place for you? What can you tell me about them?
I think of all my characters I have a particular fondness for Ingrid. She's fun to write, I like the combination of "prim and proper schoolteacher" and "tank commander" for some reason.

And I can see why you like her! Fascinating blurb you wrote with her character. I have to agree, it's one of those things that's almost counterintuitive and yet works oddly well.
