My story isn't nearly as brave, though, I too have had to hide my bisexuality. I don't hide it because I'm afraid of what the family would think, necessarily. I do it because I enjoy a simple life and something like that would only complicate things.

Mind if I ask how you discovered your bisexuality?

To be honest, I've had connections/feelings/hopes/dreams/wanted relations(ships) with females (i'm female) since I was around 16, and only to the ones that became important to me in personal ways made me even question myself and sexuality. But recently, I decided I'd try to be normal and go on dates with a few guys, after the second one, and I realized I was physically repulsed and unable to handle the idea of kissing/being intimate/close to males, I knew. I still find men attractive, but I feel like even that might disappear one day, but for now, I'm learning to accept being sexually attracted to females.
I tried to tell my mother, but she was like, well dear, it's because of the things you've experienced, the stress you're under, the men you've dated, (I've been sexually/emotionally abused by different men in different stages of my life), but she kept telling me I'd find the right guy, if only I could find the right guy... I accept that she and my siblings should be ignorant, but my father has told me he'd disown me if I ever decided to choose anything but the "religious" lifestyle.
I've only just started to tell my close friends this, and I'm finding support, so maybe later, I'll be more at liberty, huh?

It's all good. Funny enough, my brother just came out as gay not even an hour ago. My mind is blown.
