How are you with driving to Chicago? MFF is in a few weeks. I should note that it's the second-largest furry convention in the US (and probably the world) at over 5000 attendees last year but if the size didn't bother you it'd be a place to start.

God, I would LOVE to go to MFF someday. And big cons are fantastic... I just can't justify anything that far.

And I would love to meet you, maybe in the future it will materialize or I will be able to devote time to more than two cons a year XP

I know ya don't know me well, if at all, but I sympathize with them lonesome part. I just lost a great lover a few months back, and with my roommate gone, I live alone, and it's really painful. I hope you're well, your comicing was good stuff, it really brightened my Wednesdays. I do the Skype if you ever want to chat with someone, or you can contact me here, though it might be difficult, seeing as there's no noticable ping for PMs here that I know of.
