How I feel about Anthro art vs Human art
This is only for my own artwork not for others, but I never really considered myself the furry by definition. Really the only reason I joined the furry fandom 4 years ago was because I liked the fursuit and all I cared about was dressing up. All my art has ever been is human and not just any human but fan art of humans other people made. Anime, Visual novels, Games, books, tv etc. I never really made my own stuff and when I did I not only never shared it but It would always be apart of a story I would never post.
However , anthro art has changed that. I never knew it until now but I think anthro might be a secret muse of mine I never knew I needed, I never knew was in me.
I've created more original artwork in the past few days then I have ever made in my life, I don't seem to get bored or feel wrong creating it too. There is something so right about this and it makes very happy. I don't even look at the art and think "This is anthro, wonder what it would look like human." like I use to. No, I look at it and it just looks right. The characters look just so perfect and correct, this is so normal to me and it just boggles my mind. Where did this come from? Why is this so comfortable? I love this.
Yeah, my art style for this is total different, if I try to draw how I draw with humans art it just doesn't look good. Yeah, my art style here isn't as good as my art for my humans but this flows so much easier. I don't have to overthink and listen to a song and set up things just right to make a decent drawing.
I just wanted to share some happiness I was feeling right now.
