The earlier this week I found out that my aunt on my mothers side fell into a coma due to liver failure. There is a lot more detail wise that I'm not able to discuss, but there isn't much we can do for it. It's a waiting game. I currently live in FL while all of my family is in TX. There is no possible way I can make up the funds to go see them.

Early on Thanksgiving morning we were in bed sleeping when our dog Zini started convulsing and had what turned out to be a seizure. She had another one 3 hours later, and we were at the emergency vet for half of the day. We brought her in to our vet to get appropriate testing the next day. We're now waiting on the results. She's on 24hr seizure watch. Good news though she hasn't had one since.

Needless to say the stress from my aunt and combined stress from my baby getting sick have completely wrecked me emotionally. I also made the decision to cancel my plans for MFF so that I could put my money towards the vet bills.

I am deeply heart broken by the pain my family is going through. All while I am emotionally shattered at the idea of not seeing my friends. while putting them out with having to find ways to accommodate the space I left.

All I ask is for everyone's patience. I'm not good with things like this. I have a hard time bringing myself back to reality. I'm so thankful for my friends who are already making my days easier. I'm trying to be strong, but I'm just not good at it.
