Werewolf story idea*

A high school dance girl (Senior) attends a winter dance that goes horribly wrong as various students start suddenly acting wild and aggressive. Mostly men start attacking others like a furious animal showing a steady physical transformation into a wolf-like creature. Panic is induced, confusion scatters staff and student dancers, and those able to get away hide from the hunting wolfmen.

The main girl would survive being chased and hiding out in one of the faculty rooms with others. To her dismay, a scared individual points out she is beginning to show physical symptoms well despite remaining relatively calm and in control. Trust issues ensues and are put to the test as the changes werewolves bust into room.

Stories in-between or not, the girl manages to escape outside after being forced to maul one of the wolves in a feral fashion, collapsing to her knees to discover how much her hands now resemble monstrous furry lupine paws with workable thumbs and fingers. She picks up her phone and turns on the camera app using the secondary lens function to see herself horrified to see the face of a wolf reflected back having fully transformed; her clothes either tattered or torn off below from.the changes and/or the attacks from the wolves. Howling bellows from inside the high school institution catching her attention, finding she is slowly loosing her grasp on her control giving in to animal.instinct and urges drawing her back inside to seek company among wolves, howling back in acceptance.

New ideas that came up (thanks to buddy Kendall for discussing with me)

Cause of infection by Female Alpha either by rampaging into building or secretly biting male students (maybe even earlier to spread out during). Current instinctual need to protect and obey Alpha (swayed stronger towards the males) would keep the newly turned pretty feral and aggressive. Females turned would be drawn into assimilating with the pack needing males to take them while trapped in heat, but maybe only a few become fully dominated by their animal instincts completely while another few attempt to break away and run but dominate males or the Alpha herself scare them into submission.

The main character girl (at the end portion) driven back inside due to her heat and submitting animal instincts is approached by a stray (or patrolling) male wolf who advances and provokes her into mating. But midway into being tied the markings or some unique smell or article of clothing still attached on the male reminds her of a student friend she knows well giving her enough will back to realize what she is doing and break away from being tied. Rage nearly drives her to kill the male but it becomes submissive and shows the person is still in there too, leading the girl to retrieve her phone and show the wolf a picture of his human self enough to jog back some will of his own and essentially help her figure out how to attack the Alpha.

Wolf battles ensues.

In my head; I imagined part of it could.be told as if through the girl's Twitter relying all the events happening in her tweets until the ending. The last portion could.switch to a video being auto uploaded online showing the girl's last attempt to flee the growing wild pack and escape out the doors just to fall and discover her plight using the secondary lens moment to switch from the snowy ground and her handpaws and knees to flipping to her animal.face.and furry upper half clothes ripped and torn, seeing.that horrified look.on her face before the howls cause her to drop her phone and idle away only to hear her howl back and have into animal instincts.
