A hardship after another
Okay. Sorry folks for being so inactive here. I'm alive, but apparently life has decided to put more and more obstacles on my way.
So yes, I moved to a new house (that's ALOT cheaper and better than the previous one) and I've gotta say this is a brilliant place to live in - except for my landlady being very curious over everything but I can live with that hah hah...
After surviving most of my bills, my car's (Mazda 323F, 1999) shock absorbers broke and they freezed up completely. They had to be replaced and the price of the pieces was 200€, my friend replaced them, and while doing that the break pipe cracked from the other side and after fixing that, the same thing happened to the other one. It had to be replaced, too. They were something around 20€. Ofcourse the shit wouldn't stop here, and it's dog bones had to be replaced too, and their price was 30€ and in the end we had to replace yet another part on the rear that we couldn't even find from Finland as new, and had to buy one that was used and it was 50€.
We had to change some light bulbs too, and they were 20€ all together.
That's already 320€ for the parts, and ofcourse I'll pay for my friend about the work, too.
After that everything seemed to work perfectly and I took my car to the vehicle inspection (that's mandatory in Finland) since it's time was up, and TA-DA! It failed. My car didn't pass, and I'm not allowed to drive it until I get it fixed and take it back to another vehicle inspection.
Things that caused the car to not pass it were the shock absorber on the front left (I was surprised about that, it has made absolutely NO noise at all and everything has felt completely normal!), dog bone on the front right, and something on the exhaust system -it could be a hole in the pipe, or problem in the lambda sensor or catalytic converter.
The exhaust system problem is something my friend can't figure out on his own since he doesn't have the hardware to check the numbers, so I'll have to take the car to a repair shop. I called to some today and apparently if it would be the catalytic converter, the repairing price would be around 200-350€. If they find out it's lambda sensor, I could pay them for checking it up and my friend could replace it since the part itself costs about 50€ "only".
EDIT: Ok, went to a car repair shop and it's cat that messes up the exhaust... -___- They'll fix it on next Wednesday and it'll be 250€.
I already bought the dog bone and shock absorber, they costed 125€.
So I've already spent 445€ to fix my car.
And apparently I've got to still spend another 50-350€ to it to get it get through the inspection.
I've gotta say I'm in distress, especially because I live on rural area, 35km from the city where all the markets are at. There aren't many busses going, and I have a dog (gsd) which probably wouldn't be allowed in the buss.
This is why I have been inactive.
I can't help but wonder why all this shit is happening to me.
Dunno if I should laugh or cry.
I understand that this is not a good timing for this because of the holidays and all other crap, but if you want to help and have patience, you can find information about my commissions HERE.
Send me a Note if you're interested so we can talk about it.
I'm currently working on Synx's commission, and after that I'll do PrettyGreenScales' commission.
Hope you guys are doing much better than me.
