Him Story (looking for characters)

I distrust camels, and anyone else who can go a week without a drink. So, I'm back from the grave with a new story idea. As usual, I'm looking for characters to use and bring to life. However, this time I'm asking for freedom of control of these characters and situations. I think why I always get stuck on longer stories is because of limitations I'm forced to abide by. This time, I will be able to continue with an interesting story and not be prevented by writers block cause I'm stopped due to creative control.
