I don't like leaving you all in the dark about artwork just like I wouldn't want to be left in the dark c:
I didn't get anything done yesterday because I'm an idiot and lost track of time with picking up my boyfriend from work....so instead of getting home at around 5:30 and having a small break for dinner then doing some work at 6 or later, I left at 5, got home closer to 6:30 then I made dinner, we fed our son, bathed him and put him to bed around 8 and I fell asleep.
SO, my new work schedule isn't going to work as well as I had hoped it would XD silly me!
I'm altering it a bit:
My son takes two 2 hour naps a day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon.
I'm going to try and crank out at least some sketches for other commissions or multiple finished beans during his naptime so you all don't wait <3
I also have a commission for a friend I went to college with that has to be bumped up a bit on the list because it's a christmas gift for someone and december is starting <3
PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WAIT TIME!
I like to work on multiple pieces at once so while I'm working on some beans I'm sketching or lining another piece.
I DID take a break the other day and draw something personal simply because it helps me keep from being burned out. I hate art block and I hate when i don't draw for periods of time so I would rather set aside a moment for myself to keep myself motivated <3
Also:
We're a bit stressed with a move coming up, me not being able to find work, and my bf doesn't know if he will get paid for all of last week or just the days worked due to the holiday. His work provides paid vacation but he's still in their "probationary" period until January. MEANING that the money made from art might go to rent rather than my moving goal of $300....I'll be finding out today if he gets paid the full week or not.
I STILL have pay what you want commissions going on, a bunch of auctions, and I'm even going to set up an EBAY or something to sell some of my stuff.
I'm really hoping I find a job soon and I'm even going to resort to applying to fast food places again....even though I swore I never would go back to that.
At this point a paycheck is a paycheck.
Anyway, I didn't want to worry any of you and I would rather you know my work schedule and what's going on IRL so you don't worry about your commission <3
I think I'll ask my bf's sister to babysit today or tomorrow just so I can get work done.
