I just got word that my great grandmother passed away late last night. I'm having a hard time with losing my aunt, and now I've lost another great woman in my life. Two deaths in the same week... I just can't really deal with all this right now.

I really just want and need to be with my family right now. I've spoken with my job and they're willing to give me two days of bereavement pay. I'm trying to look at flights but they're all ridiculous because of the holidays, and how last minute this is.

I don't normally ask for help in these situations, but there is no way I can get there for their funerals with out help. Not after spending so much on medical bills for my dog last week. Flights are looking like $250-$400 right now. Since work is covered that's really all I would need help with. I wont know which flight I can take until my parents get back to me on times they could pick me up.

I'd like to take on commissions but I just don't know when I'll be able to get back to drawing after all of this. I have a few things still to finish on my queue as well so I just don't want to pack on to that list.

Update on price. Flights are all around $400 right now. Even with bereavement prices. So believe me when I say anything helps.

Also. This is a long shot, but I'm just wondering if anyone lives in central Texas near Austin or San Antonio. It might be easier on my parents if I could just get a ride from the air port, and possibly back to it when I leave. Please let me know if you might be able to pick me up. I know they can do it, but I'm trying to make it a little easier on them.


TL;DR: I've had two deaths in the family in the last 3 days. I'm asking for help to pay for my flight there, and possibly for a ride from the airport.
