RIP Astronaut John Glenn and Musician Greg Lake

2016 just wants to keep kicking us in the gut as we lose 2 more incredible people.

The only consolation is that the both of them leave behind a legacy of accomplishments that they can be more than proud of.
Far too many leave this world before having the opportunity to reach their full potential.
It is still just disheartening, after all the other lives this year has already taken.
As an Eagle Scout and an Ohioan, that really pains me to hear. Out of everyone we've lost, that one probably hits closest to home.
When my dad was enlisting in the Marine Corps, he had trouble getting a waiver for the screw fragment floating around in his ankle from when it had been broken a few years prior. He wrote to then-Senator Glenn, who managed to get his waiver pushed through.
Godspeed, brave pioneer. After pushing the farthest frontiers man has to date, you now boldly enter into and explore the final frontier which all men must one day face. May peace be found there, and may we follow into it with the same grace and courage with which you have blazed your trail.
