I wonder how this all fits in with the older set. I'm a furry but I'm not what one would consider a youth and I know I'm not the only furry over the age of 30. The other thing I would like to know is how this applies outside of America or Canada. Australia just doesn't have the same issues with furrydom. How does this research apply in the UK or other European countries? One thing I will say, its nice to see what I consider a positive article on the subject of furries. I would like to have seen also the mention that not all furries get into fursuits. Thank you for sharing this. *hugs*

There are a surprisingly large number of older fur, and that number is growing! Unlike a lot of other fandoms which seem to lose interest as a member ages, the furs seem to hang in there! Vrhgr is nearly double that 30 age. *grins*

Definitely seems to be a positive article. And given the research being done by the doctors of the FurScience group linked in that article, wuffy would be surprised if they examine the aspects of Furry in those other areas you mentioned.

Well I was 50 this year so I'm definitely in the older set. I don't fur suit though...too expensive in my opinion. I do have a set of paw gloves and ears but I don't think South Australian weather is really suited to wearing a full suit even in winter. That I will leave for the younger or more able set me thinks. *hugs*
