yup I have a few friends at work I work with ....one Mavs fan, one Laker Fan, and one Knicks Fan...so we always have fun.

yeah apparently there is talk that Oberto and Bowen are both going to be released in July....so they can go where they want I hoping this like the barry situation and bowen comes back.

I bet Bowen and Oberto get waived and come right back, essentially making it a Kurt Thomas for Richard Jefferson trade... I'd have to say if I were a Spurs fan, I'd be very happy with that trade.

Plus, even if you don't get them back, they are all aging, and Bowen's not the same as he used to be. He's 38 years old and he's not as quick and doesn't get much playing time. With this trade, the Spurs add another offensive threat (they seem to be collecting them now) as well as a pretty decent defender and shed a lot of age in the trade. Plus, if one or two players come back, it's an absolute steal.

Only reason I don't like it is now I have to tolerate the Spurs at the top of the West again, along with the stupid Lakers. *grumble* ;)
