So because my 2016 decided "Fuck it, if we're going out with a bang it may as well be a nuke"--My boyfriend of nearly 4 years and I have broken up.

It hurts. More than any pain I have ever felt in my entire life. It wasn't mutual per se, but it wasn't explosive. I don't hate him--I'm still too in love with him for that. He's changed in four years. Fallen out of love with me. It happens.

I'm trying to work through it. But It will take some time. He was my first long-term relationship and I don't really know how to go about losing someone I was so close to for almost every day for 4 years.

I'll be ok. It'll be awhile, but I'll be ok.
