hey guys i/m kind of desperate to find a room to help out my mom. i don't have enough funds to constantly pay for a hotel but i do have funds to rent a room for about 400 to 550. she starts work the 27th and needs a place to stay for about 2 months. i/ve been searching everywhere and i'm still looking. i'm checking everyday for new rooms / apartments but i keep finding scam type deals on craigslist. so i figured i would try other places. ( like here) if anyone wants to help me out that be great! i only have a less then 2 weeks to find a place. so we are franticly looking everyday.

Short term leases can be tricky, too. You may need to wind up shopping Craigslist to see who will have them available, or search for a sublet. Good luck!
