I've yet to see the Force Awakens. Guess I should do some catching up considering your glowing reviews!

I heartily recommend both films! If you like Star Wars, you won't regret either of them.

Agree on all parts. Imax-3d was a bit much, and I'd say skip the 3d, but yeah great movie, and the area around my seat did get a bit dusty I noticed near the climax!

I'm a big fan of the Star Wars universe, but I'm still waiting for a Star Wars movie or TV show that isn't basically a bunch of humans running around driving the plot and a bunch of interesting aliens who are there mostly as window-dressing

I suppose a degree of diversity in that regard would be welcome.

Rogue One is supposed to be a sequel to Episode III Revenge Of The Sith, but a prequel to Episode IV A New Hope. I had heard that it focuses around the team of rebels that get the Death Star plans that Princess Leia puts into R2-D2 in Episode IV a New Hope. They do get mentioned briefly in ANH when they say that it took a lot to get the death star plans, and Bothans died as a result.I plan to see it at some point, and even if I end up having to wait until it comes out on DVD, I'll still see it, because I'm sure at some point, my local library will have a copy of it, or they'll be able to get it through the inter-library loan system.

I'm waiting for a live acton version of the Animated series Star Wars Rebels. That might be interesting. Purrrrsonaly, as long as there's no mopre Jar Jar Binks in any of the Star War films, or media, I think the Warsies (Star Wars Fans) will be hella happy, and won't have to re enact the Sarlak pit scene from Return Of The Jedi using the execs at Disney, or even George Lucas himself as victims of the Sarlak.
