Xmas commissions cancelled

First, sorry if this comes as rude or whiny, but I thought 'hey, this is my blog, so I should be able to be whiny when I need to'.
Well, here we go:
So, Xmas commissions kind of sucked, almost no one was interested, There was some people that where but we didn't finished talking details (In the end I got one commissioner, who was super kind, very easy to work with and even announced me on their blog (Thanks again btw)). Summing up, the respond wasn't what I expected at all, so I've decided to cancel the rest of the slots.
This wouldn't have bothered me that much, but the thing that gets me is I'm getting mails all the time when commissions are closed, and when I'm open suddenly nobody notices. Then I guess what people didn't care for was Xmas themed commissions and that's why this batch got that little interest.
Also, I'm getting pretty frustrated with the furry commissions situation, I don't want to stop doing furry art, but I don't know if I should just stop doing it because almost every commission I get are from furry clients. And I'm very tired of being asked to draw the thing I said 'well i don't mind it from now and then' all the time, and is a snowball situation because people see me doing furry art and ask for more, and in the end I'm having more furry art than human/humanoid art. This has gotten out of hand for me and I don't know what to do about it.
(Kind of stupid to complain about this on FA, I know)
On top of that I'm having a not very great holidays, kind of tired of family members and being the weird artist cousin and all that (I'm not gonna lie this is why this post is extra salty).
I don't know I think I'm not in a good place right now and I need to take a break from all this :/

It's definitely true that the furry community supports it artists. There are lots of folks who will support the artists who want to draw for them. If you enjoy this community and stick with it, I'm sure you'll find the folks who want you to draw what you love.
Not trying to sound ungrateful, I just want to do other things besides furry art :/
Yeah... themed commissions are not always the best thing, you should have offered the christmas commission as bonus of the season with a discounted price, or free christmasy background... i don't know, something like that so people wouldn't feel forced to have a themed commission whenever you were able to take them. Also, yeah, it'sa bit pointless to complain about furry art in a furry site, i get your point but... it's only natural for people to ask for furry art if you're in a furry site. You should do some art for yourself so you don't feel bad about not drawing humans and such.
Cheer up buddy, the season might not be treating you well, but there are many ways to improve your mood and i really hope the New year will treat you better and that you can finish this year on a good note; love so much the artwork and would hate seeing you leave. Please take care, don't lose your cool over this :) *hugs*
I don't want to stop doing furry art, I enjoy it, but I have little time to spend on nsfw art, and if 90% is furry art I get discouraged because is not the main thing for me (I posted this here because I tend to neglect my FA account, this post was for my tumblr where it kind of makes more sense, still I thought everyone here should know too, even if some followers decide to leave)
Maybe I should put a limit on furry commission slots and actually respect that limit idk :/ and yes, the furry community has been nothing but kind to me, and I'm super grateful for it, it's just I'm kind of burned out
It was a fun idea, still is, just maybe taking a different approach knowing what you know now. I hardly blame you, i have several friends who've experienced something like this, like a friend who hates doing furry art and enjoys drawing older slim men and tried as hard to do them and post them here but they got little attention and he got discouraged; it was hard to see him leave. The point is, this is a furry site so it's only natural people want furry stuff, and furry porn that is, so i get why'd you get tired of it, but like i said, you can always draw the stuff you like, even share it in here or mainly on Tumblr, may not be as popular but hey, you did that for your own enjoy and pleasure, so fuck the haters.
No no, limits are never good, that will turn off people, and you said it yourself, people in here have been nice so it'd be unfair to them when it's noone's fault really. Maybe rotating the kind of commissions you take, furry in here, non furry on Tumblr. So you can keep yourself busy at all times and you wouldn't be neglecting anyone in your audience. Or who knows; all i know is that you shouldn't feel bad, there's no reason for you to suffer; if you're jaded just take a little break, just don't stop doing what you like.
Holidays have been a bitch in here too, so let's share the pain rather than suffer alone :3. Do your best buddy, take care, and stay golden! <3
