Happy New Year, review 2016 and preview 2017

Heyhey everyone
I wish you all a Happy New Year! May all your wishes and goals come true and may it be it a great year for all of us. :D
I have to say I’m not sad to say byebye to 2016. It has been a rough year for me (and for a lot of people I know). For me it was a year of big losses. My father died, my grandmother died and my cat died. I can’t remember another year where I have to attend so many funerals of close and beloved persons...
I’m glad I had my family and lots of friends who helped me through these times. It was really a relief having somebody to talk to. So thank you all for that!
2016 also was a rough year jobwise. I don’t want to go too much into details… let’s just say: I really hope for some changes this year!
And also art-wise I think I had a lot less time for it then I wished for… I’m still trying to continue with my comic. I have the ideas and I already sketched some of the next comics… but I just don’t find the time to do it. I really hope I can continue the comic in 2017!
But of course there weren’t only bad things!
In April 2016 I got two kittens, Mizi and Leo. Those young little rascals really brought joy to my home.
I had many great travels with friends this year.
I met awesome new people and had great talks with them-
And I guess I was able to develop my art style a bit more this year.
All in all 2016 probably will be a rather harsh year in my memory none the less… but let’s see it optimistic: It shouldn’t be hard for 2017 to beat that ^^
Alrighty. Now I want to thank you all for your great support throughout the whole year! I really appreciate it and I’m very thankful for it. You guys are great!
You really keep me motivated to draw and move forward. So as I said at the beginning:

I hope 2017 will be much better for you than 2016 was. As you said, it shouldn't be such a big problem. And Leo and Mizi will surely help you.
I'm really looking forward for more of your art, and I'm curious how the comic will continue. Even if I don't comment on all of your drawings, there wasn't a single piece I didn't like.

Shouldn't be hard to bear 2016 ;3
Your year sounded like mine, four or five years ago. In 2012, my Mom died on Leap Day. My favorite dog of all time died in July, my brother's dog died two weeks later. My girlfriend had a Schizophrenic break and spent three months in the Hospital. My other dog died the following April; it was 13 months from Hell. 2016 had some bad moments and flaky stuff, too, but wasn't such a downer.
I hope 2017 treats you and all of us better!
But it also makes us think and appreciate the things we have.
