Survival and outbreak style infection stories are always fun, that whole encroaching destruction of society just sweeping over the world I always considered frightning. Kinda like that whole feeling that an inevitable 'end' is inbound with the only thing you can do to fight it is thrash and run for a short while.
Like a virus turning people into big strong terrifying reptile or whatever people; Its like zombies but the zombies are large and way harder to run from, sorta if The Raccoon City Incident if everyone were a hunter. The whole "loss of personality or mind" thing always comes off as jarring, that someones entire life or mindset is just completely wiped into something wrong or somethings that's off .

You should totally do the commission thingy, would be a nice incentive to give you something extra while you spend your freetime. :P

I love infection stories! There's a supreme feeling of helplessness, especially something that occurs as your safe world becomes smaller and smaller. There's a kind of claustrophobia to it and I want to figure out exactly how I would want to write something like that. My initial instincts are to say that the virus spreads through direct contract and gets progressively worse with more contact rather than an initial contact that develops over time but doesn't require more contact. Something like the idea of contact causing segmented changes (Oh no! My legs just cracked out into dry talons! Oh, I got bit again! No, my head! Why can't I think straight?) until the complete change would work really well with me, I think.

I like dissociation, as you've probably figured out. Mental doesn't fit with the physical, or other way around.

The commissions are just something in my head! I like writing for people and what I don't want to do is give it away for free. This way, I can dictate the pace a little bit and make sure that the randos don't overwhelm it. It's not really a money thing. I'm not exactly hurting, haha.

Probably my faaaavorite thing is hands turning into paws/hooves/WHATEVER, just so they're useless and dexterity is lost. Loss of control in general is a real big un as motifs go. Personally, I'm not so big on rape (can take it or leave it but would rather leave) but what I do vibe real hard with is like ... dubcon, I guess? Where a character is so overcome with whatever that they end up wanting/begging for sex they wouldn't have wanted if it weren't for the TF that's wrought havoc on their body. So having another character taunt them/mock them for that is prettttty great, but also withholding it until the transformee is begging is also rull good. 'w'

also, misc good stuff: drool, big snoots, plush, insects or other critters that are wildly divergent from the more standard mammal body plans. things with wings instead of hands are also neat and good.

(sometimes i ALSO really like stories where a character gets TFed on purpose, through a genuine and mostly-informed choice, but then they're faced with way more trouble than they expected from it. like they didn't think it through, hahaha. so it's GENERALLY a positive experience, but things happen in such a way to make it awkward anyhow. again, stuff like hands TFing first is good for this. unplanned helplessness, idk idk. :') )

I hear exactly what you're saying. The bumpy transformation is so much more appealing for me than the clean and easy transformation, like where the person finds that their hands are gone and that was actually REALLY important to them. That or where parts of their body are suddenly and surprisingly unwieldy or oversized (oh no, your nose is goofily large and debilitatingly sensitive!) (Oh jeez, your hips and thighs are so thick that it's hard to move! Oh no, something arrived that makes it so you need to move quickly!). Even when I don't have a reason to do so, I like to throw that in there, or have it quickly come in (don't go near the door! *I go near the door* *my hands crunch into hooves that can't open a door knob* *I step back, and they turn back*) just so that I can get my kicks on that

I love insults. I love dirty talk. Always will have that there, and usually it won't be so nice. Don't worry on that angle.

I think the dubcon about sex plays into part of why a lot of what I do blends into typical mammalian work. What's nice about a dog is you KNOW how their sense of smell works, and how driven instinctually they are. Bitch lets out pheremones, alpha gets worked up and fucks. It might be a crutch but it's a useful one, and considering some of the stuff I really like depends upon good scentplay or hierarchy, its nevertheless a good framework.

Sorry about the most non-consensual parts of it. I think since I kind of view transformation as a not-so-happy experience ideally, it's easy to get tied up in that. Hope it's not too rough.

Yeah, I love that awkward and slightly-goofy stuff, both for makin it kind of more humiliating and .. idk i like that awkwardness of it

and yeah, not to worry/no need to apologize, you're creatin the stuff you like - there's enough overlap on other stuff that i'm happy to like .. ignore or skim a lil if i'm not feeling it, y'know? haha. i'm always aware that, even though i'm AN audience, i'm not the SOLE audience or w/e. and with such a weird kink i'm always like .. more ready, wrt TF stuff, to look for what i do like in any given piece even if it's not 100% in every way.
