*sigh* Right after finally paying off my credit card, again, I go and rack up $2k on it... dammit...

Well, anyway, I finally ordered a new laptop, and it should be getting here latter this week (I got express shipping).
If your wondering what I got, I decided to go with this Acer laptop
After doing some looking around, that looked like the biggest bang for my buck, and that was in my price range. I was looking at the Metabox computers, and even though they looked really nice, and had a lot more power, I just couldn't afford them. The base prices looked affordable, but after adding the essentials, like a hard drive and operating system, they were coming to $3k to $4k, and that was BEFORE shipping and tax! They would be nice to have, but I would need a much better paying job in order to afford them. Heck, the $2k that I spent is a lot more than I should be spending, but I'm hoping that this new computer will be able to last for several years... I'm hoping anyway...

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you guys know. I'll try to test out the laptop once I get it, to see if it will work for the things I want to do on it, and if it does, then I'll be able to add the option for digital color in my commissions.
I know I may be stupidly slow with my art, but I think I'm gonna try to do the commissioning thing. Goodness knows that I could use the extra money...
