Why do I look in the mirror and see someone different? Why is the one I see laughing but yet she cry's. Her red puffy eyes are looking at me, tears streaming down her face. Yet her smile could make the devil himself cringe. Why does she call herself my Best Friend, yet she stabs me in the back more than I can count. Who is this person I stare at every time I look into a mirror?
Should I say something to her? Should I ignore her? She's always crying and saying how she hurts, how she's So Sorry. At times she just stares, crying. I stare back unable to speak out to her, unable to look away or walk away Why? It's like I'm stuck looking at her, like I'm not allowed to leave until she lets me. Why, I don't get it.
So now I still stare at my Best friend who is crying in the mirror, and here I stand not doing anything but staring. And now I turn away and turn off the light. Leaving her in the mirror, as I walk away I can hear her crying. And just as I close the door she always whispers
