I'm sorry, I need this off my chest

Please take a moment to read this. Especially if you're an artist drawing for me
I've seen this COUNTLESS times for the past 3 years, and its been getting worse. I thought it was just my rotten luck in the past to commission an artist who does this, but now I see it all over the place.
Artists who ONLY post submissions, that's a notification of them streaming, while neglecting their commissioners and the art they paid for to go fuck around in streams with friends and post memes for HOURS on end.
Seriously, people, why do you do this?
I can understand once a week or something, and journal reminders from there on out, with drizzles of finished work in between, but those of you I watch who've gone for MONTHS without a finished pic submitted, yet have not failed to post your 'btw I'm streaming plz notice me! *heart emoji* '? Fucking shame on you! Seriously!
Like, what the bloody fuck have you been doing during ALL the time you didn't stream? You never finish ANYTHING, but you post stream notes out the ass and log COUNTLESS hours in it....WHERE'S THE RESULT!? Where's the art you allegedly worked on in the stream for the past week and a half!?
Some artists pretty much ignore commissions for the sake of things like professional contract work and patreon crazy ass numbers that are honestly ridiculous(props to those artists who earn 20k+ a month drawing furry shit through patreon . Yes, they exist), and you know what? THAT'S FINE! Go where the money is I say!
But those who ignore commissioners and what they've already paid for, simply to stream all fucking day and sit there scribbling away while talking about memes? Seriously, fucking stop it. It's blatantly obvious you do it ONLY to get popular, and you're pretty much shitting ALL over the commissioners who've paid you, by ignoring your responsibilities and instead focusing on 20 - 50 people who are okay with watching you edit a sketch you have no intention of finishing in the foreseeable future, for as long as 4 fucking hours!!
Seriously, fucking stop being like teenagers on their phones during a vital semester class and then blame us for not understanding your 'creative process'. You wanna pull the 'you're not very professional!' Card on us? Then fucking act like an adult and do the work you got paid to do in the timeliest fashion you can muster instead of streaming for shit's and giggles on your commissioners' payroll!

Most I've seen in the furry fandom is shy of 3k. Hella curious who these 20k+ furry artists are on patreon
danza for one, hes not a flexible artist AT ALL, he sticks to his comfort zone of patreon and gets welfare for stale smut and poses all the same every time, now i noticed no other artist does this, no offense to him anyway, now say like winddragon, again not trying to name names, but i see why he ISNT on patreon since they dont allow rape and forced sex, i mean patreons like handing out their very tip top people ALL the free stuff, streams and get this, in the streams patreons get priority over all non patreons while the nons get ignored, and ive heard they cant take any criticism at all at patreon and even delete negative feedback and have their own bullies that gang up on people who say anything bad about it
sorry for the long ass comment but i feel great to get that off my chest 0:=:0
I don't seem them as welfare as most people's patreons are only successful if they put out enough content to gain and KEEP patron's. If the people are willing to continue supporting for the amount the artist is doing for their patreon then clearly there are levels of satisfaction being maintained. If the artist's patreon was lazy and not worth supporting then clearly people would end up leaving in the long run. In the end it's the Patron's that are what's putting artists onto Patreon and keeping them there.
I do agree though that if you're doing a patreon then you should keep some pretty good stuff on there.. which again is going to be up to the patron numbers to keep in check.
I don't necessarily understand the vitriol against those artists who use Patreon, as it's essentially a tip jar or even a collective commission if you'd prefer to think of it as payment rather than donation, where the collective pools their resources to commission the artist. No one forces anyone to pay money to an artist through Patreon, and people can use their hard earned money on what they want. Sure, sometimes artists can con people through Patreon, but they definitely won't get that person's money the next month; word spreads or enough people catch on and there goes one's credibility and any chance one has at making money.
And it's also just as dumb to keep a significant amount of art behind paywall. Time spent on Patreon exclusive artwork is time one is unable to spend on artwork to showcase to the public and self-advertise effectively.
Anyways, yes, people who ignore commissioners are bad.
Here's an example I pulled from an anon patreon artists page:
"$50 pledge: Earn the possibility of getting one full color image with a max of 3 characters. Each month lost will increase your chances of winning the next!"
It has HUNDREDS of patrons seeding into it. HUNDREDS!
It's a scam. Sure 1 person a month gets the commission slot, but the other HUNDREDS of people will have to wait who knows how much longer to get what they're essentially paying for. The guy who won did too. For all we know he could've spent THOUSANDS over the course of years to get 1 pic.
It's fucking disgusting.
I see so many lazy cunt artists who do this. Who want to get paid like they're fucking da Vinci in modern times for literally doing nothing. Or the artists who sit there showing their skills and giving patrons nothing but 'vote rights' and 'early sketches', while they just sit there doodling and pretty much showing those of us with a BIT of pride in ourselves what we're NOT allowed to have, what we came for: Commissioned artwork.
