Life update (Family losses)
I figure I might as well put something on here about what has been going on lately. Over the last couple of years my dad has been battling Melanoma. A process that definitely took it's toll on him. Unfortunately on Christmas eve he was sent home on hospice and last Tuesday he passed away. Luckily he had a good day on Sunday that all of my family got to share and talk with him. We all were aware of what was coming and got to say our goodbyes and that we would miss each other, which I am very grateful for. He left surrounded by those that love him.
The only thing I really have an issue with is that hospice did almost nothing to help in those last few days. I don't think I will go into detail on what happened on his last day, but I feel enraged that he and my family had to be put through it.
All of this happening a few mere months after we lost my grandfather. All in all it has been an incredibly hard time of coping with all this. All I can say is let the people who matter to you know you love and appreciate them! Do it every time you can!

So very sorry for your loss. And I understand the hospice thing. Hospice wasn't good for my friend's grandpa I had to help care for and it just makes things rough. Hope you all find peace and you can grieve properly and cope with it in some way.
