Gotta go to the clinic...
Hay guys, sorry I fell off the internet again, stress and depression kinda took me down again.
Anyway, it seems that I may have to go to the clinic tomorrow, since I have a fairly serious infection in the back of my neck.
I was trying to deal with it myself, using antibacterial ointment, and cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide, but over the course of today, the sore on my neck was hurting quite a bit, and the pain only seemed to grow throughout the day.
After I got home, I used my phone to take a picture of the sore so I could look at it, and I'm pretty sure it is another MRSA outbreak.
In case you don't know what MRSA is, it is a really nasty, flesh eating infection that has a tendency to burrow down into the body, and since the sore is in my neck, at the base of my skull, this can be a very serious problem, and can even be fatal if I don't deal with it now.
Fortunately, I have health insurance now that should cover pretty much my entire visit, (at least I'm hoping it does)
These MRSA sores are something I have dealt with in the past, but admittedly, I haven't had one that hurt this much, and the pain seems to be spreading beyond the sore, and I am having pains down my spine and in my head, which I am hoping is just in my imagination (or because of my crappy mattress).
The whole thing has got me a little concerned about my well being. My stepdad had a MRSA sore that burrowed over an inch into his leg. With it being in my neck, an inch can kill me...

hoping its nothing serious tho
Hopefully all they will have to do is clean the wound and put me on antibiotics, and maybe something for the pain...
I'm glad you caught on, I hope you're alright! Good luck!
The practitioner thought it wasn't too serious looking, and just put me on medication.
I got more details in my new journal
