1. Been in the fandom for...
Oh gosh I wouldn't know for sure. 2004-2005, maybe? Dang it's been a while.
2. Found the fandom how?
Hm...I'm not entirely sure! I know it had something to do with the fact that I was writing a novella at the time, one which was fantasy-based and had dragons as the main characters. I had intended on them being proper, full on feral dragons. But after a short while on the Internet that all changed quote drastically. I'm not sure when that particular light switched on, but it was definitely around then.
3. Chose your species cuz...
Okay are you ready for a truth bomb because here we go:
My first character was a cheetah chakat. Extra limbs, hermaphrodite, the works. It was a nightmare. I'm not entirely sure when I changed to present day Sharn, but it was probably around 2007-2008, around the time I finished high school. I just sat down with a free-to-use reference and...there she was! The only thing that's changed between then and now, besides her hair getting a lot curlier.
4. why/how did you choose your name?
Okay, bigger truth bomb. Sharn River sounds like a pretty mature name but actually it was chosen by a child. Ready?
Sharn - Queen Sharn, from the Deltona Quest series.
River - Nate River aka Near from the anime Death Note.

5. if you had to change your species what would you choose?
Hmm...I'd probably go for an Australian animal of some kind! A dingo? Perhaps a numbat!
6. What percentage of your friends are furries?
You know what? I used to say none, or one, but now there's a bunch! Now I'd say a third, perhaps even half! And the ones who aren't are still pretty supportive! I wouldn't discuss furry things at length with them, but I'll bring up things in passing and they'll acknowledge them, etc.
7. If you've been, favorite furry con and why?
Oh man, this year's CFG! Though I'm hoping I'll be changing this answer come may! :D
8. Got a fursuit?
There's one in the works, yes! Ohhohoho I'm so excited yissss

Hm, I'm down, but I rarely have time. I also gained a lot of skill and experience in my years pretending I was older than I actually was. So no scrubs. T1 minimum.
10. Are you open about being a furry, I.E if it comes up in conversation
Pretty open, yeah. I was closeted the entire time I was in high school, but managed to step out in uni, and really it takes the same place in my life as anything else. I have a furry calender up in in my house, a few small pieces on my wall at work. I'm out enough. Though I don't think anyone will be able to stop me wearing my fursuit outside at least once :D
11. Gay / Straight / bi?
Straight. Don't get me wrong I can appreciate the female form, find it visually appealing, and boobs are great. But I've yet to be sexuality aroused by anything that wasn't sporting a bulge.

13. Do you have adult art of your fursona? If yes, post favorite
I do, but I'm actually not into adult art as much as you might think! Hence my favourite mature pictures are generally the pinups. Because I'm bad at feeling sexy, but at least this way I can live vicariously through the art, haha.

Uhhh....also yes.
Though to be fair, he's far less into it than I am. Though, adorably enough, he brought it up in conversation a lot early on, because it was one of the very few topics that would make me open up and trust him with secrets and shiz.

I don't wear my strap-on in public. Don't wear your murrsuits in public. Save the sex gear for the bedroom. Beyond that, do whatever you want.

Not really. Hmm...if anything, I do own a tail to be worn in...particular situations? Though even then, that's not really a kink. No, I have kinks, but they're neither reliant on nor independent of being a furry.

And oh yes. Sharn River sounds like a mature, sophisticated name, but in reality it was pieced together from equal parts Deltona quest and Death Note. Because when I named her I was both really into kids books and also anime? It...doesn't really make a lot of sense, haha!
And thanks, I think get the idea of what weeb means now. And nothing wrong with that name, it works well. Deltora Quest, I loved those books when I was younger. Still got them somewhere. Funnily my OC's (Roscoe) name was taken from a book character, though it turned out to be the characters last name and not their first name. Hence why shes got a male name ^^;;
That's k, you can go out looking for bunnies super early.
And yus haha that's excellent, because I am the only morning person between us so I will snag all the bunnies and look like a boss.
Or spend all morning digging arrows out of the ground because aiming is hard
