For the next few days, maybe a couple of weeks, I'll be away from social media while I look for a new apartment, something I should have been doing quite a while ago. I like this little room, it's cozy and efficient, but as time goes on it's been getting a little too cozy. Besides, I have to share the bathroom and the kitchen; the former has contributed to a few *cough* problems that we won't get into, while the latter has contributed to me not eating as healthy meals as I really should be eating. I also need some storage space for some stuff of my brother's that I need to hang onto for him, (because he has no storage space at all in the home), and a little for my own, too. And I'd really like a dishwasher, other than myself. In short, I want to move up to a bachelor.

And that means I need to concentrate on the task, which in turn means that, for a little while, (I'm not sure just how long), social media like FA has to go. I don't really believe that anybody will mind my absence, given that I don't post that much, but I still wanted to let you all know that I'm not posting "Please Help This" journals for a reason. And that I'll be checking in every-so-often in case of comments, PMs and such, but not much else. And that I will be back sooner-or-later, although I might be further delayed while I get Internet installed and replace this old junker of a computer. And I might have to just nuke unread journals and submissions when I do get back, I've a feeling they'll build up pretty rapidly in my absence.

One last thing; does anybody in the Hamilton/Burlington area of Ontario, Canada know of any bachelor or single room apartments available? I'm not fussy about which floor, as long as it's clean and bug-free and the rent is reasonable. I'm looking for $600-700/mo, preferably including utilities and appliances, no carpet, furnished or not, preferably moving in at the beginning of March. I'm an older gentleman, clean and quiet, non-smoker, financially secure. I'd really appreciate any tips!
