Do you know if the same will happen with the Amazon Kindle version? For example, according to one reviewer, some of the art from Twelve Sides is missing in their version, unlike the Bad Dog Books one.

I can imagine the Amazon Kindle version will be similarly censored. Kyell had problems with Amazon and graphic imagery in the Kindle versions before, so he cuts those images out for the Amazon releases. But if you buy the e-book directly from the publisher, it won't be censored.

Twelve Sides had a LOT of explicit images in it. Usually Amazon and other retailers (and Amazon is far from the strictest) will let me get away with one image, and the one image in Love Match is just nudity, not sex. I took out several of the explicit images from Twelve Sides to head off any possible confrontation with retailers because honestly I went back and forth for weeks with iBooks over "Over Time" and I don't have the energy to do that with every book. So I do my best to tell people where they can get more of the images if they want them and I try to be a good partner to the retail stores so that if disputes DO arise they'll be inclined to work with me.

I mean, honestly, this is another reason we have furry-owned e-book stores. If you want more porn in your books, go support them. :)

Ah, I evidently missed those blog/journal posts. In any case, i mentioned Twelve Sides as an example of an edition i found out was missing art in its Amazon Kindle release. All the books i bought so far that you wrote were in printed form, so there being differences between ebook editions was a new concept for me.
And while i tend to favor Amazon for convenience reasons, if their own policies make them offer an "stripped down" version of a book compared to other retailers or the publisher itself then I'll get it somewhere else.

As I said, Amazon's not the worst. The same edition went out to iBooks, Google, Kobo, and Nook. But yeah, support your furry e-book stores. ^^

No version of the book is censored. "Censored" means that an outside agency came in and removed content from the book to meet some standards. "Love Match" had one single image edited by FurPlanet with my agreement. Right now FurPlanet is the only one with the license to print the book, so their version is the only print version available.
