Personally, I prefer single pages. Once your height is past triple the width, FA's weaknesses rear their head.

That´s actually a fair point - I didn´t even realize there could be problems with very large images.

I'm a traditionalist. If the comic is laid out using traditional panels/spreads, single pages are the easiest for me to digest.

Although there are some comics that don't conform to a traditional page size in a successful way, but those are either non-linear visual sequences or they spread the art in a line horizontally or vertically a long way for some specific thematic purpose. So I'm not gonna act like a fuddy-duddy if people want to get experimental.

Well, personally, I´d much rather stick with the classic page layout as well - I just wanted to hear if people thought the scrollable option offered any advantages in terms of navigation.
Apparently, the latter doesn´t have any real benefits, aside from offering a bunch of possibilities for experimentation, but I don´t see myself trying out anything crazy in terms of display anytime soon, anyway.

It really depends more on the restrictions of the website display. Some sites handle the vertical scroll a lot better than others. As far as FA goes you'd be better off with pages.

Otherwise, don't feel the need to restrict yourself. You can post it differently depending on where you go, though that would be a little extra effort it could be fun to see how it changes the experience.

That was pretty much what I was thinking, as well. On most sites, single pages do the job just fine - Transfur and Pixiv, for instance, even have an entire upload option built around bundling sequences into one submission.
On the other hand, you have sites like DA, where gallery navigation can get pretty awkward and HTML links in image descriptions are notoriously prone to errors and malfunctions. Still, I think I´ll stick with the more "traditional" comic format for now - it´s what I´m more comfortable with most of the time, anyway.
