I had a dream where Dhai and I ended up going back to Houston TX in 1992 by accident. We ended up going through some sort of time portal that we didn't see before it was too late. In our state of dazed confusion about what just happened we get chased by a cop who arrests us and accuses us of being drug users since it was a problem in the area we ended up and we were kinda in the middle of the road when we arrived. After we manage to get away we're told about a drug rehabilitation program that is in California. Apparently its the closest one to Houston as these programs hadn't spread very far yet, it was one of two locations in the entire country. We end up meeting a female who had also come back in time from a similar portal and were in the process of trying to explain things gently to her after she had been brought in for the same supposed drug use.
We were being held in this open facility that was a combination police station and scientific research facility. We weren't allowed to leave (which completely contradicts what happened previously in the dream) so I ended up finding a way out by shifting into a small bird. I give the researchers the slip after using a fast moving river to increase my speed. Dhai is no longer anywhere to be seen, but we meet up again later. I am guessing we each somehow had to manage our own escapes from there. Later on us 3 meet up again on the street still in 1992. Apparently the chick who was with us was an otherkin elf of some sort. I said that I knew this area of Houston as it was near where we ended up moving in 1994. Then there was this scene where I was being attacked by a dog and his muzzle was around my throat, but no force was being used and it turned out this whole thing was being filmed for a tv show and we were just actors (this was not the feeling at all in the rest of the dream). I told the dog that it was kind of a turn on for me to have his muzzle around my neck like that knowing I wasn't really in danger and he responded with something snarky that I don't remember. I ended up waking up at that point.
