Angels With Scaly Wings

I don't care who sees this I just wanted to get this out. But there's this dating simulator game called Angels with Scaly Wings. Obviously you date dragons and it has a pretty intense story to it as well so I highly recommend you play it if you have 10 dollars to spend or watch a YouTube stream of it for free.
It deserves the recognition
It deserves the recognition
I'm still playing a month later
More Remy would be nice too.
My youtube name is FureaLarvesta if you wanted to watch!
And I can't agree more, the game is simply a masterpiece!
There is the playlist if you wish
Would say the closest to a dating sim I've seen has been when I played "Fire Emblem: Awakening" where you see those lil conversations between the different party members play out which are adorable. Though in those Robin is his own character and not like somebody who always does go ego perspective, kissing and whatnot. <X3
And Fire emblem awakening does let you make your own pairings but it's pretty niche compared to other visual novels. Guess that's because it's an RPG first and dating Sim second xD
In a way I'd prefer they'd take each game of the series and make several seasons of anime out of it so I could just enjoy the story alone. Because to me the gameplay is just such a frustrating experience.
As far as visual novel games and adventure game go in my place I'd say I enjoyed especially:
-The Zero Escape series aka The Nonary Games (999, Virtue's Last Reward & Zero Time Dilemma)
-Stein's Gate
-The Danganronpa series
-The Ace Attorney series (aka Phoenix Wright)
-The Prof. Layton series
-Hotel Dusk: Room 215
-Ghost Trick
-Another Code: Shattered Memories
One can definitely say that a lot of these games can give you quite some surprising outcomes and character developement. I guess one game lately that has been very popular was "Doki Doki Literature Club" yet. I watched some people play that one.
And yeah those games all really what got me into visual novels
Especially Zero escape and Daganronpa. Just finished Daganronpa 3 recently. Alll about the character development. Oh and Doki Doki Literature Club pretty much took the whole internet by storm. I think everyone is talking about it. But it's more about the mystery, horror and shock and meta than actual character investment.
Argh, the Danganronpa and Zero Escape games had so many shocking moments at times. The punishments alone and the plottwists and such made you at times getting a lil bit despaired as well. Not to mention the added stories from the three anime series. So many hits in the feels. XD
Yeah especially with Daganronpa characters you like suddenly dying or being the killer really hits you hard!
But yeah, doesn't change that the music, the design and all of it is really outstanding and that it's a very turbulent and thrilling plot. I remember some people recommend a game called "Exile Election" but I must admit, when I tried to follow that story it felt like so much less engaging as a game. It was written in a way that also felt really stretched out somehow. ^^'
But that's what's so good about music. Especially if it sticks with you long after you finish the game.
And yeah, sometimes I wanna browse certain tracks of games and feel really pumped by how much character the tunes can have. In that game I really liked the scrum debate song for some reason. I found that one always cool. But I guess a lot of parts in the entirety of Danganronpa's different class trial soundtracks are pretty amazing.
(Scrum Debate is one of the best tracks along with Hope searching)
I guess, in a way such games can get you a lot with how crazy the situations can turn out. Suddenly - BOOM - giant robot or What the?! That character is crazy all of the sudden?! o_O
It does definitely belong to the games I'd enjoy to have like something like the quite popular Nintendo Switch to play on the go. Another RPG series or at least one entry would be Persona. I enjoy the stories in that series alongside with the motivations of the characters when they either investigate stuff that happens here and there or going about daily life as we get to know them more and more. "Persona 4: The Golden" would be yet another Vita game I didn't get to play and think would be fun to have yet.
Every game needs that "Wow" moment. Even in bad games they will have them because they want you to remember a particular moment in the game to stand out or be talked about way after the game has been released. Persona 4 Golden huh...ah i really need to finish the regular version because i stopped playing it awhile back. Thing about RPg's like persona is that when you stop you end up forgetting what you were doing.
Yeah, had that happen once though wasn't an RPG but a Pokémon Spinoff, one of the Ranger games. Have been fun though once you stop and return later you can just start anew or you're pretty much lost. XD
