This week in bullshit

General
This has been quite the awful week for more for quite a few reasons, not the least of which been the most obvious seen recently.
Firstly; I contracted pneumonia, which I am still recovering from; so that chained my ass to my bed as you might have noticed by my large amount of posts recently. Being ill is bad enough but I'm still in college so I still have to try and deal with my professors and try not to fail all incoming assignment while shitfaced (yay).
Not only that but I have to deal with bi-
oh fuck this you don't care about that; let's talk about that thing seen pretty freakin recently.
About more than a week ago I made a post editing Korasu/Patohoro's Lugia picture from five years ago. I had been eyeing for a long time and I thought the normal process would just leave me with another edit in my gallery as I had doubted he (like many other artists I mimic) would pay much attention or even notice.
Then I get a note from him labeled: "You know what this is about." from Korasu
Now here's an overarching problem with the internet, an important thing about conversation is tone of voice, which determines the emotions behind what things are being said; it's why the phrase "sit down" can change from invitation to a command. The internet (or voiceless text in general) doesn't really have that, so when I see that note title, consider my line of work to be rather disliked generally; I read it more as: "I found your shit, fuckface!"
Now I'm in full panic mode; and I'm rather ill as I've said so rational thought has gone out the window, so I open the note and see two things "please let me know next time, okay?" and a link to his own update to the picture as seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22766437/ in a dropbox link. Now, if you remember the previous version you'll know the previous picture had soft eyes and a distinct smile; this changed those eyes to the more draconic look seen more in PMDE artwork; and seeing them gave me more panic as I got the feeling those eyes were looking at me and very much condemning me and my work. I had assumed this guy had more fans than me and I would be roasted alive if they got wind of this
Now I'm completely without rational thought and go fully into damage control and start leaving posts explaining that I will remove the image and begging for forgiveness; removing the piece and making the previous journal entry. I did everything I could to hide and repent for my offending work.
Then sometime later I got this note responding my previous one (copied verbatim):
"I really am not angry haha, it's fine. Maybe if you really didn't credit me AND claim it as your own work, then I would raise an eyebrow.
You really have to understand that other people that ain't me may be more upset with it though. I won't be filing any complaints but another person may. General idea is to ask an artist first, then they either allow you as long as you credit them or refuse to do so with no further question. If you don't upload it then there's no harm to be done really.
By the way, I'm really fine! It's just that I could probably do a better job if you want a specific version of my older works, that's all.
Could swear I put in the description that I didn't want any pitchforks aimed at you..."
yeah...
felt like a bit of a paranoid schizophrenic at the time and I had already removed the post and made my decision to leave it down as a better version was up; but I did try to better explain my situation to Korasu and he explained his and I like to think we're on good terms now.
So anyone of mine that think he's coming at my life, he's not; just a bunch of misunderstandings brought on by a sick stupor
Hope that clears things up on my end

I simply was bothered by how pacman her face looked. The eyes were extremely out of style too, so I changed to a more vampiric look, since that's what the character (which really isn't mine) was all about: a vampiric mistress with hypnotic abilities that resides in castle named Draclugia.
I am not one to send other people if I want to make something clear; I come directly at the person and tell them if something's up. I suppose my bluntness was a bit intimidating there, but if I really wanted to say "I found my shit on your gallery, fuckface", I probably would've said that in the first place.
Well, luckily it was just a silly misunderstanding.
