Aw butts :( (oh and TFF)

Soooo that flood was supposed to be bigger! But my computer literally had a shit attack and isn't booting!
(Symptoms-
(Unrelated, but related - but my RAM Is reporting as failing in overclocking (despite I set the clock speed to normal). This used to happen once a few months if even, but now it's every boot ATM.)
Pre windows logo - forever spinning loading dots
Pre windows logo - attempts to launch windows recovery, then gets stuck at a black screen)
Before this all happened - I was uploading stuff. Windows explorer opened to locate the next file to upload - but everything about it froze. Chrome froze too. I tried to ctrl alt delete to end the task - but that wasn't responding at all. After a lot of fruitless clicking, a small window asked if I wanted to force quit it - and I did, but again to no avail. After a while I just decided to restart my computer. I had to force shutdown. Since then - it's not booting.
Currently making a recovery USB on another computer. I've taken out my main drive and started backing up the art on it just in case.
not quite sure whatsup. Anyone have any ideas? )
IT WAS THE RAM. THANK YOU MEMTEST86
Anywho. Flight leaves in 4 hours - I'm SO GOOD at finding reasons to never sleep before a trip :|
OH, and - I'll be going to TFF at the end of the month! Hit me up if you wanna meet!

I'm no IT expert though. Hopefully you can get it fixed quickly.
Can you get a command prompt up before the spot where it gets stuck? Solution 3 on this page solved it for me, it skipped the recovery and the issue was sorted once it got back into Windows.

My experience suggests it's your hard drive dieing, but it's hard to tell. My next guess is your windows load, and then lastly memory issues.
A windows cd for a repair install would be the quickest easiest thing to do... The risk of that is if your hard drive is dieing it will push it further to it's death bed, but hopefully you already have your data you need off. But it will fix most windows install issues.
If you know someone with an extra hard drive, I would stick that in and install windows. That will tell you real quick if it's your hard drive and or your windows load or if it's memory... It's more likely going to be your hard drive as memory issues will more often give blue screens of death.
If you want to check your memory, go here:
http://www.memtest86.com/
Download that somewhere, put it on a cd/usb and then see what it says.
If it says your memory is bad and you have multiple sticks, depending upon the setup you can try one stick at a time.
If you're comfortable with your computers overclocking controls, sometimes older memory needs to be pushed a little bit voltage wise. Don't touch this option unless you have experience.
Sorry if this is not well explained, it's late and I don't want to go super in depth on everything.
Too bad poland is so far. It'd be nice to meet ya but oh well, chatting sometimes is good enough
