Really Windstream?

After going around and around and around with windstream today, I got told "You should of never been at 6 Mbps in the first place, as whoever set you there several years ago had apaprently for some r eason set you up to that without meaning to be so we have set you to the 1 Mbps speed that you rarea has been for and we can not change you back as it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to get those speeds." ...so yeah we have basically been half lied too for years and then now they refuse to give us what we had been given -anyway-
So yeah...after a recent complaint that the internet was going at 0.1 Mbps, they checked, set us to a maximum of 1 Mbps because "That will be stable where you live" and now refuse to set us back to how it was before, because "It is impossible for you to get the speeds your claiming to get and our own records -say- and show you were getting, because there is no support for those speeds there so we will not set you back to that speed."
...So quite basically said "You know what, Fuck you for wanting the internet service you were promised on contract to get, we are going to restrict you to this speed just like everyone else in the area normally gets." ...And yet even the tech out here saturday said we could get -up to- 10 Mbps, and yet of course windstream themselves claim thats impossible. ....Thanks windstream I believe your going to be loosing my family and all as a customer...even if we have to end up resorting to something horrible like satalite internet or something >.<
Grandpa is guessing they are trying to scrape every cent they can with such actions before they go bankrupt, or sell out to another company, because of getting a reply from the BBB today through windstream saying pretty much "How about you all fuck off and switch to dish so you leave us the hell alone."
They got the response of, "Because you know that's not an option, and are the only providers in this area, and so your going to keep getting complaints." from my grandpa.
