No... No you can't. When you've given something to someone else, you no longer have claims over it. It is now THEIRS. Not yours.
In terms of a physical gift/goods, again, you no longer have ownership of that/those items. You do not have custody to take it back because you wish it. Lending is different from giving. To LEND is to expect its return. To GIVE is to pass full ownership and lose it in its entirety.
When I say I give this to you, you can do whatever it is with it to your heart's desire. It's yours. You are the owner of whatever it is I gave you.
When you say you give this to me, don't pull the "I can take it back whenever I want!" card. Because at that point you're telling me I had no ownership of it, that I was mere storage purpose. That, my friend, is disrespectful. Tell it to me the first time when you want your "gift" back. That way I can put it in a shelf and forget about it until you ask for it.
