1 year challenge

"If you're falling down, I'll be right there to catch you. If you feel alone, you know I got you...
So I've been seeing some creators set up personal goals for the next year, lot having to do with the inspiration from the late Unus Annus channel. So I think this year's gonna be my first "X-year plan", starting small with just 1. Like they emphasized, you can get a lot done in just 1 year. So let's go ahead and take a dive.
Goals for November 14th 2022
1.) Write & post 12 new chapters of Just Another Murder
2.) Run 26 sessions of my Pathfinder 2e campaign
3.) Make & Post 5 full digital drawings
4.) Become fluent in French
5.) Make & sell 20 sets of clothing articles
Reasons as for why
1 - "Just Another Murder" (JAM for short) is a murder mystery novel I started years ago and let slip not long after starting. In fact, all of my writing basically stopped. So in an effort to relearn to write stories, I'm gonna take it by the horns and just write again. I'll likely have to re-edit submitted entries, so I won't count those towards my goal. I think 1 new chapter per month is fair after going cold-turkey for so long.
2 - I've been running a PF 2e campaign already, but I've gotten overwhelmed a few times and requested to postpone game nights. This year I'm going to do my best to run my campaign once every two weeks as per my group's normal schedule and not request to postpone. This does not extend to my players, however. If someone else cannot make it for that session, then I will try to adapt the best I can and run potential one-shot adventures set within the same timeline.
3 - So this one is a weird one. I used to be active in drawing whatever, whenever. I saw my talent grow over time and was REALLY proud of it. Eventually that all just kind of stopped and I haven't been able to draw a circle without feeling horrible. I've been talking to a friend and he's thinking about selling me his tablet when he's finished with it. I'm not expecting to draw Mona Lisa or anything, they'll be pretty crude and unrefined, but I want to resurface my ability to draw.
4 - I've always wanted to speak French (France). Right now I'm just passively using basic words and phrases I've learned over the years, and I want to step up my game and hold full conversations. Dunno when I'll ever actually NEED it, but y'know, might look good on future resumes.
5 - I've been toying with this idea to start up my own small business where I hand-make clothing articles and accessories. Scarves, gloves, hats, jackets- dunno, just throwing ideas out. Technically I was trying to learn the craft over the spring/summer so I could get a kick start for the winter, but that fell through when I couldn't find teachers or videos that wouldn't frustrate me. That and sewing machines are a pain in the ass to set up every time I need to use new thread. I'm convinced this resolution is the most likely to fail out of everything else, but I might as well throw it out there.
Alright. 5 things to do this year. I have other resolutions as well but I want to keep those private. Ugh, just looking at these 5 things is making me sick and overwhelmed. But I need to do something. Every 1000 mile journey begins with a single step.
