I'm not doing so well due to there not being enough time in any given day to catch up with sleep, fun, and school. I haven't found any form of compromise that works.

Yeah, I don't have finals per se, but we have tons of animation and other art work to finish until 24th april.
I feel ya, if there's anything that's daunting, then it's getting reminded about the deadlines and whatnot gosh.

Uhhh... I got surgery on my right shoulder and cant draw to save my life until next week. YAY

Nooo that's horrible! I remember it was hard enough when i temporarily messed up my shoulders from the intensity of last semester. This must suck ugh. I hope it gets better soon!

There's been a bus strike in my country for the past week and I haven't been able to attend college (it's an art college, doesn't have finals in the usual sense) so I've been trying to work on art and sketches until I have something good enough to post. But it's slow going. xP

Also just trying to be active and talk to more people in general.

Huh, can't tell if that's good or bad? I mean hanging at home's damn good, but are you missing any important info?
Yeah we also don't have proper finals, there's this session of finals for some of the lectures that have exams, but they're half-assed anyways. The rest is just to get all the art done til' the final exhibition of em.

Thanks! Tbh I haven't found my art college that useful. They're more interested in pushing modern art on us as the only way and discouraging illustration, so I see my work at home as more important. I'd have switched if there was a better course in an affordable area. There's no deadlines this week or next week though and it's Easter holidays for two weeks after that.

Sorry for the late reply- But yeah I can sorta relate to that. It feels like they often try to stuff contemporary art on us too. I get that they want to encourage us to think outside the box but... honestly i feel good in my box, thank you very much.
Though at the same time I can say that fortunately i've learned a lot too besides those things. Got loads of animation knowledge and practice aswell as bunch of fundamentals in other stuff. It's just a shame that a lot of the modern/contemporary art stuff takes a lot of time and effort that take away from the other cool stuff.
I do hope you still manage to take something from it all, though!
