Do you ever expect to make a profit at these cons?

It would be nice, but I never really expect it. It is nice to recoup at least what I spend in hotel, travel, and the cost of making the stuff. But I'm not really a great artist among fur fandom in general -- definitely not Blotch or Dark Natasha material, so I am lucky if I hit $500, which gets eaten mostly by costs.

No, going to cons is mostly for the (foolish?) hopeful crocodile that maybe... *maybe* he will cross paths with that one person that will turn into something serious.
