It was for myself...that is an easiest mistake to do, because you can say "I'll try to do it, but no promises." to others and steer clear of the trap of not keeping and hurting them. But to make promises to yourself is saying that you trust yourself whole heartily and if you don't do it you have only yourself to blame and not hurting others. But the whole reason why you don't in the first place is murphy's law, just like jurassic park, will find a way. Not by your own efforts, but the course of life itself. Plane could fall on your bed and kill you for all that matters if it can stop you from succeeding and keeping those promises. I made a promise to myself this year, but long story short, it was all undone with one phone call. It was a year late, and the timing can not be any worse.
