We dropped by the March of Dimes site today to make a little memorial band for her, and we both donated a small amount <3
We screwed up somewhere when making the page, but she weighed One pound, Eleven ounces. (mom put it into the weight field, but it got lost somewhere)

What happened?

and was, for all practical purposes, incapable of independent breathing- she became stable for a few months, at which point Mom adopted her to a family in Washington- then Izzy got worse and went to one of the Children's Hospitals in Seattle, where she died of complications in November of the same year.
I want to say that, officially, cause of death was pneumonia, but I'm not entirely sure.
What a beautiful name, too. (And I'm totally not biased)
It's cool that you got this done, though =P Now I'm not sure whether to throw the money directly to you, or through that donation thing
