Hey all! I'm back from anime detour and really had a great time. I met a lot of people (A LOT of furries!) and sold a lot of Pokemon art, woo! I'd for sure go again, probably as a normal attendee even - which I might do next year if that sweet sweet money doesn't convince me to go back to the artist alley. XD I also roomed with actual longtime friends, and had a lot of local friends who went, which made the whole experience doubly awesome. Everyone made great roommates AND our room was like, extra big! What! Hell yeah! Is it next year yet!?
So yeah! I don't have any other conventions until maybe July or August, so back to normal work now. Remember you can see this month's commission plans on this handy dandy calendar of mine, so far I'm on schedule: https://calendar.google.com/calenda.....merica/Chicago Please note that I've updated my plans based upon what I got done before detour and what I took home from detour (spoilers: I got all my physical commissions done while I was there, woot!)
And today I'm just resting and relaxing. I slept for 10 hours and probably would have kept going if my roommate hadn't woken me up. I also bought two tiny cute plushies as a reward for myself, a candycorn meowchi and a croconana: http://imgur.com/TaLp1Fd The meowchi is from a place called tasty peach studios and the croconana is from Sorbet Jungle, so feel free to check them out if you want one yourself.

Also... just saying, apparently there is a Pokecon in Minnesota. WTF, guess where I'm probably selling next. :P Anyway, easily the best con I've been to yet. I want to go back right now. :D

I kinda wish I could go to as many cons as you do, but that would just get too expensive! XD
And yes, you should totally go to a con at some point as a normal attendee; it's awesome! :3
I'm a bit curious, and forgive me if this is an inappropriate question, but do you usually manage to earn enough to break even with the costs of going to a con? :3
