Cat ADVICE! Seeking some info/opinions
Hi guys so as you may have noticed I am on and off vacant recently, that's because of my broken browser and the fact I am moving soon~!
I know it's a little random but I want some advice about a situation.
About 12 ish years ago my family adopted two maine-coon mixed breed brothers from a shelter, Tigger and Tiger. They are sweet boys and both really loving, really precious balls of fluff. About three years ago the adorable little kitten Oakley was introduced to the mix and the brothers were set~
However as I mentioned I am moving out in a couple of months and I am sitting with a realization. Each time I move away my cat, Tiger, gets severe depression and hides under tables/refuses to move for weeks ; (. So after having him go through it so much I get a lot of guilt and whenever I come home to visit or return this cat quickly glues to my hip. What I am wondering is if it would be okay for the cats to take Tiger with me.
Tigger and Tiger nowadays mostly fight or just have stare-downs with each other so its not like they are super bonded but I am still worried about it. More-so Oakley cuddles constantly with both cats but tends to lean towards Tiger more.
So the real question is that... I feel like I should move him down because he does help with my anxiety and I know he becomes anxious without me and he follows me everywhere. [Even when I go outside, he managed to open the door while I was walking to get the mail. Turned around and he was waiting for me halfway in the yard, rolling around in a patch of clovers]

When you leave he misses you and it weighs on him. Cats are also super in tuned with their humans emotions . You are his human.
My cat used to have a sweetheart, but they got separated due to unfortunate circumstances.
She would rely on him so much, they'd always cuddle and be together.
Sure she was a bit upset and confused for some time, but she actually became a better cat as the time passed. She used to hide every time someone came home, was really skittish and careful.
But now she walks up to the door to meow at you when you arrive. Not sure if that was due to her growing up a bit, or since she couldn't rely on him anymore, but she's absolutely fine and happy even after 10 years.
Of course, this is just one instance. But as long as you are there, it should be fine. Maybe you can get him a friend to keep him company while you're out? When you're the only thing he has, you become the priority, so you need to make sure he's never alone for too long.
he seem missed u. its wont be hurt to try.
Though you might need to get another cat just so he's not alone wherever you are. Some cats will fight regularly, but still feel less stressed for having another cat around, others don't care and are fine being alone. You'll just have to see. <: 3
It sounds to me, that you are WAY too important to him. I think it'd be good for both of you.
Beside you said you introduced a kitten some time ago to them and they got along. That way Tigger won't be lonely. :>
In my opinion, it sounds like a good idea if you can do it! :D
It seems mutual that you two like/need eachother around so i having him with you and vice versa is probably a decent idea.
Cats adapt pretty readily and they adjust within a few weeks so I wouldnj't worry too much.
See how he does for a while and if he seems like he needs another cat, get another cat or kitten to be around him when you're out.
Good luck hun ^o^/
