What does passive aggressive mean? Basically being aggressive in an indirect way. What's aggressive mean? Well being hostile to get your way.
What's an example of aggression? Well bullying, that's aggressive. You're being hostile to dominate someone. What's an example of passive aggression? Well here's this:
I was on Second Life and I was having avatar to avatar sex with someone (which is something I do a lot). It was going well until the guy decided to switch positions with my guy for bareback sex. I said, "I don't have condomless sex." so I made my guy stand up. So this guy says "no problem..enjoy yourself :)" and then I say "You're just leaving?" and then he says "you jumped up..sorry, have fun" and then I say "I just didn't want condomless sex." and then he finally says "it's cool..enjoy
i'm just the wrong guy for you" and then the conversation ends.
That's an example of passive aggressiveness because this guy is indirectly being hostile towards me for not wanting bareback sex. I mean he keeps telling me to have fun when that's pretty rude because how can you have fun by yourself.
He didn't say "I want bareback sex you fuck!" but since he said what he said, he's still being aggressive which isn't cool.
It's not cool to be aggressive because it's hostile, thus violating the NAP (Non-aggression Principle). You shouldn't try to get your way by force.
I wrote a journal about the NAP here on Deviant Art: http://strongman20.deviantart.com/j.....-NAP-672645328
He could've been nicer by saying that he prefers bareback sex and since we can't come to an agreement we must stop. But NO he got all passive aggressive about it.
Don't be passive aggressive.
