Yay im back in texas, really enjoyed AC this year, got to meet so many of my friends again.
as usual the con rocked, they sorted a few of the problems from last year, shuttle from the hotels to the con, more water for fursuiters.
ran around in the sex kitten merlot suit for most of the con, and then was in the jester tiggy suit for the last day.
so many faces, got a new marci badge too, (upload soon) got piccys and vid's to sort.
the drive to the con was like always, long but interesting, we found cheap airsoft guns at a gas station and had fun with them on the way up. was in convoy with windchaser, and leo the lion driving their own cars.
the trip back was also in convoy, but with a slight hicup when we stopped for a mid way rest. messing around with airsoft guns is fun, but we erm got in a bit of trouble with them, we stopped at cheatham for some zzz's everyone went into a motel bar myself and orim who stayed up messing around. now some old lady had seen us turn up, watched us mess around with the airsoft guns, come to the decision we were gang members and phoned the police to report we were about to hold up the two gas stations and the motel in armed robbery. the point when the cops turned up everyone else had gone to the room, me and orim were sitting around laughing and drinking hot chocolate. i heard orim say"oh shit its the cops" then heard a police mans footsteps. i wasnt holding the gun, it was on the car seat so jumped out the car, to find a loaded and cocked 9mm pointing in my face, (yup oh holy shit) the next thing i knew i got slammed face first into the side of corsi's car. the cop started shouting orders which im not used too.. legs back arms behind back dont move or i will shoot you.
i got kicked twice when i didnt move my legs back enough, my arms got pulled backwards and then i was cuffed tightly. orim was also cuffed and then padded down and sat on the floor next to the police car. i was still face planted to corsis car. my nose bleeding from where i had hit the car. i got dragged off, and padded down, then stuck in the police car back seat. this was all over airsoft guns, yes ok they look like real guns, but the red tips and lack of noise sort of give the game away.
windchaser came over to drag me and orim back over to the motel and also got cuffed. leo had seen that happen and woke corsi who came over in a pink cowboy hat and also got padded down. russell had also joined in, so it was getting interesting, loads more cops turned up. (big thing for a small town)....
everyone else had their ID on them, myself i didnt, my passport was in the back of the car in my bag. so i had fun trying to explain to the sgt, where i was from, and then more fun trying to explain international dialing codes and stuff.
it all ended peacfully, we were told to put the "toys" away in the trunk, the police let us all go without charge. they didnt appologise for my nose or the stream of blood down my face. leo had firstaid training so fixed me up, and then we got the hell out the county,..... nice looking place but no. after that the last place i wanted to stay is there.

so all in all Anthrocon is great fun, will book for next year, but the next trip we are avoiding tennasee and locking all gun looking toys in the trunk,,,,

in the mean time im going to go soak in a hot shower, get this road grime off me, and try to relax a bit without thinking about getting shot by a police officer.. (still scares the heck out of me.)
