it sounds like to me, not coming from FA, but it might be something taht is targeting your browser once you get to FA.

I've been thinking that too. The other night it happened when I was trying to look at new art on FA's homepage, every tab was being redirected and I got to miss out. Making me think it's either a script from one of the advertisers or someone is putting up a thumbnail hook that's actually leading to a malware site.

You should probably contact an admin about this. They'd want to know if people are injecting malware into this site.

This is because the random ads (not FA ads) are not regulated at all and since they are actually scripted instructions rather than basic animated GIFs, they have all the license they need to install any software they want to on anyone's computer.

I don't think my computer is getting viruses, however some weird things have been happening on my laptop when I started to browse FA everyday since earlier this year.

Try using a add-on such as adblock plus or ublock origin, if you still find yourself redirected with those on its not something one FA affecting you.
Also worth running a full virus scan with whatever antivirus you currently use, just in case.

I seriously recommend getting WEBROOT anti-virus. I got it myself and I have not had any viruses and anysite that does have malware,Webroot immediately gives you a alert to leave and blocks any attack.
