Thursday morning shortly before 5 am while working, I was driving, I was taking a right hand curve and my truck suffered a double blowout of the rear axle on the drivers side, the rims gouged the asphalt and resulted in me flipping my 60,000 pound work truck, I think as the truck began to fall, I got my arm up and took the glass to my arm and elbow, rather than my face (instincts rock). I did suffer a pretty bad concussion so my memory is a bit...missing but Ive been getting filled in on bits and pieces.


The first responding officer Stopped my manager (whose been running my route) to ask how I have been doing. He told my manager that "That Crazy bastard was already unbuckled and trying to climb out by the time I got there "
He also told my manager that "Ive seen a ton of accidents on that curve, and speed wasn't the reason he flipped, if it was, his truck would have crossed the median"

SO that makes me feel a bit better. My boss, told me that "it looks like something wedged between both tires and blew them out...it wouldn't have mattered if you were driving 1 year or 20 this would have happened, it was an accident and there was nothing you could do"


my injuries are as follows

Multiple Lacerations to the left arm and hand from the window shattering.
laceration to the head from impact resulting in concussion.
Laceration to right thigh.
Massive bruising to left thigh from seatbelt.
neck pain resulting from whiplash.
headaches, nausea whenever i get up lean over (resulting from concussion)
minor pain here and there.
