Vincent Steele is a product of an offshoot of the eponymous InGen, International Genetics Incorporated, a division seeing to recreated sentient, bipedal dinosaur hybrids for militarization. Vincent's 'model' was an early success at endowing advanced intelligence, dexterity, and cognizance to the velociraptor test subject. Unfortunately for Vincent, the artificial growth hormone did not take full effect, leaving him at a diminutive five foot five when compared to the rest of his clutch. Seen as a runt of sorts, he was often left behind or left out of training altogether and was forced to strive and make up the discrepancy on his own. Not only this, but when an ocular defect was found to have affected him and his siblings, Vincent was opted out of laser correction and instead wears prescription spectacles.
A life largely spend in isolation has left Vincent maladjusted to social life and as a result has difficulty opening up to others. At the same time, to anyone he does perceive as a friend he comes across as overly chatty, and quite carefree with sharing personal details.
He possesses keen intellect and semi-military grade training, though his newfound freedom has resulted in him neglecting it's upkeep at times. Despite this, he has an almost impossibly fast reaction time, with reflexes faster than most can process. His tawny frame hides an impressive musculature which he can exert and overexert at a moment's notice, though at cost of severe exhaustion.
