[Personal] Update - May 2017

I'm bored and I realize I haven't done one of these in nearly a year, so let me give anyone who cares to listen an update!
Okay, let me just go down a list of things I'd normally talk about...
Life: Life's kinda shit, stuck at home, no money, blah blah blah, moving on.
Writing: I stopped for a good while, but I'm getting back to it. I'm going a bit slower now so that my work isn't as choppy, which it usually is because I get overly critical when I self-edit. I also removed one story from my gallery. It's for a good reason beyond the fact that I didn't like it anymore. There's a valid reason for it. Trust me. I figure most people haven't actually read it though.
My current project, funny enough, is basically a redo of my second submitted story: Cassie the Hotel Receptionist (click to read if you want.) I've been doing well with it, developing it nice and thoroughly with the help of
Bazzathebumbler and 
Mikita7182 . I don't wanna sound too much like a certain someone, but it's gonna be great. You'll love it, believe me. Both stories will still be canon, in case you're wondering. Where does the previous story lie in relation to what I'm writing? Well, to prevent too much reveal, the first part takes place a day or two before Cassie the Hotel Receptionist, and the second part will take place a few days afterwards. It'll feature Cassie and a new, minor character as well as a character I intend to be a major part of the story later on that gets introduced in the second part.
I do want to mention that I haven't even started the main storyline yet. This is basically a prequel I'm just having fun with.
I deleted the last part I had written for the main storyline because I felt it wasn't very good, among other things. I didn't want to start with a morning routine. I like to read plot-driven smut, so when I looked back at it, I didn't think it was going anywhere fast enough. I'll get to The Pecking Order soon enough, though, and when I do, I'll hopefully be more proud of what I put out.

Wait, you draw?
Well, no. Yeah, but no. I'm not good enough at it. Inconsistent. When I can stomach the failure to absorb the learning process, I practice what I can on the tablet I got for Christmas last year. Oh yeah. I got a tablet for Christmas last year. If I had to describe my skill, I'd say I'm good enough to draw a semi-proportional, moderately detailed rough sketch SOMETIMES, as in more often than not I'll get stuck or hate it because it looks wonky and I'll scrap it. Fun stuff.
Expect tons of art soon!
Nah, but seriously, I'm nowhere near good enough to post my art. I'm just sharing because I'm bored.
I'm also thinking about commissioning when my work ethic improves. I bet it would if I had deadlines and money/public opinion were on the line. I'm just gonna take it slow and see how I feel when I'm in stride.
