So yeah, I guess it's been awhile....

I apologize now, as it seems I've been a pretty bad social hermit. And Idk if it'll get better any time soon.
I'm not depressed or anything, but I've noticed that I'm slowly withdrawing from more social things. I haven't been
on here in forever, and I've also not been playing my video games as frequently as I used to. I just seem to want
to socialize with a handful of people lately, and that's it. *shrugs*
That being said, I do miss all of you, and all of my extended furry family! I think of you guys every day, even if I
don't reach out to you. You are all in my heart and mind, and I always hope for the best for you all. ^^
Now, I guess it's fair that I give a little update since I've been away so long. lol
Things are going well in my life. I'm still working at MRS, and I still love the job. Even on the bad days, I still don't
want to be employed anywhere else.
I posted before about how my cat Midnight needed surgery. Well, he made it through the surgery just fine, and is
fully recovered. The only thing left now is that he's on a special (IE expensive) diet to help prevent the bladder stones
from coming back. But he LOVES the food I have to give him, so I GUESS it's worth the price. lol
OH! And after three months of living at my new place, I FINALLY finished setting up the living room! WOO!
Which entailed me moving the two remaining boxes I needed to unpack/organize into my bedroom. lol
BUT AT LEAST THE LIVING ROOM IS CLEAN! lol
I'm also slowly saving up to buy a new car. I got my current car, a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic, as a hand-me-down
from my mom. It's a nice little car, but it's starting to show it's age. It has over 160,000 miles on it, and things
are starting to deteriorate. I'm hoping to buy a Volkswagen Golf for my next car, but recently I've been tempted to
get a truck again. I REALLY miss my old truck, and I'm thinking that a Chevy Colorado wouldn't be a bad next vehicle.
I think I'll wait and see after I get my taxes back next year to see what my options are.
Oh, and before I forget, I might be getting switched to first shift at my job! They're hiring a few new guys, and usually
the new guys work second shift for awhile before getting enough seniority to request being switched to first. That being
said, first shift wants some extra people on their shift. So, once the new guys are finished being trained, they are going
to be going to second shift while one of my coworkers and I will be switched to first. We're not sure when this will happen,
but it'll be some time between now and December. lol
I think that's about it for anything major. There's not really a whole lot of exciting shit going on in my life atm. lol
