Calling all sex toy users!

Hey hey, all! So I've closed commissions for the time being because I've got a really big (and awesome) one on my plate that I'm devoting all my time to at the moment. Y'all might have noticed some silicone stuff showing up in my submissions. That's a personal side project I'm working on at the moment. Trying to see if I can hack it as a maker of silicone sex toys. Dongs! It's a whole new medium and I'm excited to be playing around with it :D
I've got a handful of designs I'm eager to work on. These will mostly be hand sculpted (with some digital work thrown in), so it's a little slow going at the moment. But I thought I'd open this journal up to some suggestions. For any of you folks out there who enjoy using sex toys, specifically dongs/insertables, what sort of things do you like in a toy? Personally, I like thick, smooth toys, but I know that's not always the norm. I'd love to take other people's tastes into consideration when designing new things, so please feel free to leave me some feedback! Can't promise anything, but it's nice to hear what people like.
Also, if you guys have color preferences, please lay those on me too! I tend to prefer bright, shiny colors in my dongs :D I love metallic colors. But I don't expect everyone does. I've got a lot of colors to work with, so feel free to tell me what you'd like to see :)
I'd really like to eventually consider taking dong commissions in the future, IF I can actually improve my process. There's a LOT that would go into that, though, and they'd probably be fairly expensive, so I'm not sure how viable an idea that is. Still, it's worth mentioning...

Smoothness is a big thing for quite a few but light textures are nice too! Also metallic finishes are a nice touch and make the toy more pretty. I'm a colors person myself and you can get glowing the dark too XD.
I'd say to keep in mind what each toys prime is going to be. Whether it be vaginally, anal, or both. I find that toys that are used for vaginally can't be too pointed at the end or they hurt. We're as that's perfect for anal play.
Skimming through, I'm not seeing any pierced ones on that site. Are they in a certain category or a keyword I'm missing?
Like making smaller ones for people just starting- or more accommodating to people new to anal.
Stuff like that. Since most people just tend to make dildos in the furry fandom that are the literal equivalent of a horse.
I love the excitement of seeing big floppy dongers being made, but yeah, I can't realistically handle that stuff and I want to include people out there who are in the same boat :D
I do like the look of some of the larger toys and I admit I've bought some just cause they are aesthetically pleasing.
But, I also suffer from not being able to handle large toys.
Just some physical ailment where the 'norm' is something I just cannot do.
Unless I want to cause myself pain. And I know others suffer from this problem as well.
I'm super picky when it comes to toys, but I'm trying to think on more of a vague view.
Because ridging can be useful for people that don't feel pleasure like others do. Adding that little bit of umph to it.
But smooth can be good for people that just want simplicity with it!
Plus being smooth can resist help with wear and tear- so they dont damage the toy.
Also we can talk on Skype or Discord- but I don't mind talking here.
I'm generally pretty open to this sort of discussion and people can always throw in their opinions :)

Blunty is better for the front door, I would say if there is a "ridge" or if it curves a little to hit that good spot, thats a super bonus.

It is not an easy business due to the price of finished products, but damn if you can get some designs that work well intimately and look amazing, it's definitely a great artistic avenue to get into!
Also lol, the talk of frenum ladder silicone toys is so true. I don't/won't have one due to medical reasons but Diasis has a frenum ladder. So few toys simulating them well, but that Orc one in the DamnAverage store you linked above looks awesome and definitely inspiring for ideas.
Oh man, yeah, Damn Average does excellent work! That orc is a classic! I'm loath to do one myself because I don't want to rip off her work (so many people already do that). There's some other piercings I wouldn't mind trying at some point...
That's always something to keep in mind, definitely don't want to be stepping on toes with it. It's all an artistic endeavour and a way to get some pleasure to people that use the toys, definitely should not involve a lot of drama haha!

... Just thinking now, places to get reference material for certain piercings could be a little interesting haha! xD
